He provided the breakfast

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared on the shore of the lake where His disciples were fishing. He called out to them after an all-night bust and told them to fish for a few minutes on the other side of the boat. It worked! Not until that moment did they know it was Jesus. After dragging the 153 fish they caught to shore, they discovered Jesus already had a fire going and breakfast was ready for them.

Those guys were working as hard as they had ever worked. And they had nothing to show for it. Then Jesus showed up and preformed a miracle of provision. The work didn’t slow down, but now it was exciting…joyful even. And on top of being fulfilling work, they realized the Lord was there.

That’s my idea www buy fioricet of a great day. The presence of Jesus, a boatful of friends, and work that is “working”. The product of that fulfilling work is something I feel I can present to Jesus.

Except that He doesn’t need it.

Jesus had already provided the breakfast.

Any time we get invited into relationship with Jesus he provides everything that is needed. Because He loves us, He gives us opportunities to work and be effective. He overwhelms us with the privilege to partner with Him. He welcomes our full participation.

But we should never confuse our effort and His grace. We must always keep in mind that whatever we have in life, He has provided, and that any intimacy we share with Him is due to his invitation and resources, not our activity and accomplishments.
